Kindly do not leave messages for call-backs, emails, Facebook messages or other social media connections for reservations; you will need to call during regular business hours and speak to someone directly!!!

First seating is 4:00pm & last seating at 7:45pm depending on other bookings

We take 6 to 7 reservations in advance only as we leave a few tables open for “day-of” bookings or walk-in guests, but these table go quickly.

Walk-in guests are always welcome…..if we have a table available, we’re happy to seat you ❤️

If there is not a table available, take-out is always an option.

OUR RESTAURANT IS VERY SMALL & OUR SERVICE STYLE IS VERY CASUAL 💛

We will do our best to call you the day of, to confirm your reservation - should we not hear back from you we may have to cancel your booking. We text confirmations from a private cell number if we cannot reach you by phone.

Please understand “no-shows” OR last minute decisions not to come is VERY hard on a small business like ours; please be courteous when cancelling a reservation on short notice. PLEASE ALWAYS CALL AND SPEAK TO SOME ONE DIRECTLY. Kindly do not just leave a message. We greatly appreciate it !!

We have one “booster seat/portable high-chair” that straps onto a chair for little ones. Our place is so small, so big highchairs or strollers just don’t fit…… but we try out best to accommodate. .

For larger groups (9 to 19 people), it is possible to book the full restaurant at 4/430pm OR 745/8pm. PLEASE EMAIL DIRECTLY TO info@barnnork.com A non-refundable deposit of $100 may be required for large table bookings. along with a pre order OR set menu.

We encourage people to share when eating our food as that is the Thai experience; dishes will come out of the kitchen staggered in timing.

We serve Thai Beer and a small selection local beer & coolers.

We offer one house red & white wine - You’re welcome to bring your own bottle!

CORKAGE FEE of $18.00 will apply per bottle

Lots of non-alcoholic beverages, Thai iced teas & specialty juices.

We make our own ice-cream & sorbets.

BARN NORK is now located in Whistler!!

After 2 years of preparation, a very long build with major renovations, a brand new kitchen install, a ton of hoops to jump through, months and months of waiting and serval re-locations to keep us a float; oh ya, and all of it through a global pandemic!! WOW, what a wild ride it’s been!! But all worth it!! We celebrated our 1st YEAR ANIVERSAY in APRIL!!

Where our location has changed, our food and who we are has not. Barn Nork may have a new look, but our goal is still the same; to cook food that makes you happy. What we do is basic; and honest. Our food is prepared with love, integrity and the highest quality ingredients we can possibly get our hands on. We care about you, and the food we feed you!!

Our menu is ever changing however some dishes have become a mainstay for our regulars and local guests. We encourage people to explore our food and try new things, but at the same time, take comfort in dishes that give you joy.

You’ll see lots of the traditional Barn Nork usuals - Green Curry, Beef Massaman and of course Pad Thai, with features changing monthly. As we move forward, we’ll dig deeper into our roots to bring you more “street food”, a variety of “snacks/smaller plates” and eventually more noodle dishes!! We’re also working on baked goods and more flavours of ice-cream and sorbets!!

Our Riverside location is quite small with just FOUR TABLES, as 75% of our restaurant is kitchen!! We have very limited sit-down-dining as we’re more of a “Thai market/industrial kitchen sorta place”, primarily serving take-out. Our little joint really “rocks” sometimes as we’re blessed to be super busy, most of the time. We do our best to take as many orders as we can without jeopardizing the quality and care of our food. We’d rather is take a bit more time so it’s 100% delicious!!

Summer months, allow us to have access to more outdoor space. You can order take-out, grab a drink and sit on the patio, or pull up a seat at our rail-side bar; plus, LOTS of green space in the park to through down a blanket and chill. AND DOGS? Dogs are always welcome!! Our love of dogs is equal, if not more than our love of food…..we’re not kidding!! Other than food, dogs are our life❤️

There are no “bells and whistles” at Barn Nork. We are casual, simple people and our food is a refection of what’s in our heart. There is no deliberate fusion-style adjustments or modern-day twists incorporated into how we cook, it’s just food from our perspective based what we love to eat and on what we grew up eating in Chang Mai.

Seven-plus years ago when we started this adventure with fingers crossed, we never, EVER imagined we could be so lucky to end up here!!?? It is our dream come true. We know that sounds “corny”, but it really is the truth. We truly hope you enjoy what we have to offer!!
